The following furlough relief options are available to eligible Transportation FCU members impacted by the partial government shutdown. Please check with your agency to determine if your pay will be affected. If you are a Transportation FCU member, employee, retiree, or qualified DOT/FAA federal contractor who will not be receiving a paycheck due to the government shutdown, you may be eligible. Membership eligibility and proof of furlough are required.
We will continue to monitor and make modifications to any of our furlough assistance programs to meet the needs of our members.

Furlough Relief Options
- 4.50% APR up to 18 months repayment term
- with a minimum payment of $25;
- Up to two weeks of net pay, up to $3,000;
- First payment deferred up to 45 days.
Proof of furlough will be required. Members will be asked to provide most recent pay stub. APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Loans are subject to credit approval. One loan per member. Must be a member in good standing. For a $3,000 loan for a term of 18 months with a 4.50% APR, the monthly payment would be $172.69. Offer can be extended or withdrawn at any time.
First time users of our online loan platform will need to register an e-mail and create a password.
Returning users applying for a loan, simply select “Personal Loan” as the type of loan and login with your email in the Welcome Back section.
Impacted members who currently have a loan with Transportation FCU may be able to skip up to 2 months payment(s) on consumer loans during the current furlough period with written request. Skip-A-Payment fee will be waived. Click here to complete a Skip-A-payment form.

GreenPath Financial Wellness
This service is free to Transportation FCU members for use at any time. One-on-one guidance from a trained money management counselor is available for members to get help in understanding their options and making critical financial decisions through our partnership with GreenPath Financial Wellness Program.
